I grew up in Oshawa, ON and there’s not much memorable there in my opinion outside of Lakeshore Park, The Oshawa Zoo and the easy commute into Toronto. It is however worth visiting the Soper Creek Animal Rescue and nearby city of Port Perry with it’s old town charm. Full disclosure: I had a friend who volunteered at Soper Creek and got me into the facility and in with the animals, you’d likely only get outside the cages if you visit officially.
I lived in Ottawa for about five years in my college years and loved this city. It’s clean, safe (as long as you avoid the sketchy downtown McDonalds late at night) and is a nice place to relax and take in some history. I would like to go back and take some newer more high quality photos of our capital.

Toronto is one of the two Canadian cities that are internationally known and for good reason. Toronto is Canada’s equivalent to New York City and has lot of cool attractions in or around the area to see an explore. I grew up just outside of Toronto with an easy commute and got to explore a little of everything. I’m going to go back soon and take more photos of what this great city has to offer. Torontonians are known across Canada as having an attitude that the world revolves around them so to be fair to other cities I must also admit that there are 7 lane wide freeways, parking lot-esque traffic and garbage everywhere. Again, not unlike NYC.
