Zion National Park is just stunning in a way that I haven’t found outside of Utah. The colours of the rock formations is so different from everything we have in Canada. I’ve been through twice now and I’ll certainly go when life takes me back to Utah.
Antelope Canyon, AZ
I was first introduced to Antelope Canyon by a coworker and dear friend of mine. He is also very into photography and shared photos of this gem on social media. I was stunned by the natural beauty and made it a point to visit when passing through Arizona. The canyon is on Navajo land just outside of Page, AZ and is well worth the somewhat steep fee to experience it.
Calgary, AB – Peace Bridge
The peace bridge is one of my favourite architectural attractions in Calgary. It’s colour, lighting and shape always seem to draw me in to wanting to take ‘just one more photo’ of the landmark. Usually, while likely strolling by the Bow River between downtown and the Sunnyside/Kensington neighbourhoods for a late afternoon cup of tea. Between the bridge itself, the skyline vistas and river below I just keep coming back here as one of my favourite destinations when wandering Calgary.
